I was tagged so I decided to go with it......

7 random things about me...........

1. I love numbers. I spend hours on our budget and figuring out possible future outcomes. I think its fun to talk about budgets and finances. Since I was a kid I would spend hours talking to my dad about money and how it works. When I was younger I used to tell people I was going to be an accountant. :)

2. I love holidays especially Christmas and Thanksgiving. I love when fall rolls around and I know the holiday seasons are starting. I like the clothes better, you can be much more dramatic. I love the cider, Apple desserts, Christmas cookies, cranberry salad and peppermint ice cream. I love the feeling they give me, the nostalgic traditions and buying gifts, decorating and cooking for them. I also love the music!! I get excited that K-Wave has only Christmas music for 30 days!!!

3. I love seeing new places and trying to embrace something about their culture. Someday I would love to take my kids to a different country every year for a month. I would love the first one to be a villa in Italy. I also want to visit every state in America and do something that the state is famous for!!

4. I really enjoy competitive reality shows like The Bachelor, Top Model, Project Runway, Biggest Loser, Top Design, Sheer Genius and So you think you can dance. And I love makeover shows. I have no idea why. I think because they inspire me. I think another reason is studying the types of people on the show, they fascinate me. I like to watch human nature at its um... "finest".

5. I love debriefing to Joe after an event or a party I have or one I go to. Debriefing is key for me to figure out my thoughts and emotions. If I couldn't do this I would be a different person.

6. I have been writing in a journal since I was seven. I used to have family members sign the front to say they would never read it.(Like they would want to!) Some of my entries just mention what I did that day or what I had eaten. I have several journals, some are filled others are for different kinds of writing. I would write short stories and have my brother read them and write a comment. (Sort of like early blogging) They are such a light into my past and where I have been and where I want to go. Where I stood spiritually at the time and what emotions I was going through. I enjoy reading old entries now again to see what made me who I am today and see if I have accomplished what I set out to do a long time ago. I would love to write a book someday. I want to call it Balance in the Paradox. I think Balance is key as long as you have a solid and objective place to start with.

7. I love planning. I plan for things quite early. I love having my planner and making lists. I've even started planning my "boys" 1st birthday party! :) I like to buy Christmas gifts early and plan for parties months in advance. I love planning something like an event and having it a success. It's a great feeling. The fact that you may have made a fun memory for someone or a meaningful one (like with outreach events at my church) is really fulfilling. I feel like I am doing one of the jobs God put me here for.
